EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing):

An integrative approach to psychotherapy that allows an individual to process disturbances in a way that is both efficient and effective.  EMDR involves processing emotionally charged material while experiencing bilateral stimulation (eye movements, sounds, or tapping).  Initially developed for the treatment of trauma, this approach is extensively researched and is has been found to be helpful for a wide range of concerns.  EMDR has been demonstrated to be effective with all age groups, genders, and cultures.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT):

CBT is another evidence-based approach that can be used to facilitate growth Focuses on creating changes in thinking and/or behaviour patterns that are underlying people's difficulties, ultimately improving the way one feels.

Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP):

DDP is an attachment-based approach to helping children and families heal from difficult experiences including loss and trauma. It also informs an approach to parenting that fosters healthy attachment in parent-child relationships.
